Why MicroDri is Excited to Join Jobbsprånget

This is MicroDri’s first time participating in this incredible initiative, which helps highly skilled newcomers to Sweden connect with the job market through four-month internships.

What is Jobbsprånget?

Jobbsprånget, launched in 2016 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), helps bridge the gap between skilled immigrants and the Swedish job market. Specifically, the program links professionals in engineering, IT, finance, and science to companies across Sweden. Through this, Jobbsprånget provides a vital first step for those building careers in a new country. Today, Jobbsprånget partners with over 500 employers across both the private and public sectors. In fact, it has become a key player in Sweden’s talent development initiatives.

Program Success and Feedback

The program is widely recognized for its positive impact on workplace diversity and inclusion. Moreover, participating companies consistently highlight the unique perspectives and expertise that Jobbsprånget interns bring. Recent surveys show that over 70% of Jobbsprånget participants find employment within six months after completing their internships. Furthermore, many companies retain Jobbsprånget interns, helping create a more diverse and skilled workforce.
